• S.T.E.M. programs continued with at least one dedicated teacher in grades K-12 at all schools.

• The district continued to expand its K-12 comprehensive fine arts program and presented to the community the ACS Fine Arts Showcase featuring the work of our students in 15 programs. 

• Graduates received scholarships in excess of $5 million for the third consecutive year, with an all-time high of $6.4 million for 2018 graduates.

• The district’s graduation rate reached an all-time high of 90%.

• 335 secondary students met the Wildcat Community Service Challenge, completing 10,000+ community service hours.

• The district’s general fund reserve reached an all-time high for the second consecutive year, now approaching a four-months reserve.

• The Pre-K program was expanded to serve a total of 72 children.

• The After the Bell program expanded to 325+ children, serving grades Pre-K-8.

• Family engagement staff training and related parent activities were initiated at all schools with a focus on actively engaging families in their child’s learning.

• Competitive academic teams/opportunities and academic booster clubs were initiated for the first time at all schools (K-12).

• The 1:1 technology initiative was continued for all students (K–12) and infrastructure upgrades were completed.

• Over 93% of the action items in the district’s strategic plan, ACS2020, have been completed or are significantly in progress.

• ACS iAcademy, our virtual learning program, was expanded to the elementary level and is now available for students in grades K-12.

• The Living Tree communication platform was introduced to encourage and enhance communications between the school, teachers and parents.

• The R.E.A.C.H. advisement program was implemented for students in grades 5-12, addressing specific academic, social and emotional needs of children.
